Is anyone running an Apple LED 24" on their PC?

If so, could you please describe your connectivity set up. Also, are you able to make screen adustments (e.g. brightness, etc.) from Windows? And does the iSight and built-in speakers work for you?

I have an Asus P5Q-EM board with Intel integrated graphics in a PC that I would like to connect to the Apple display (I haven't bought it yet) , but not sure what my connectivity options are, and what is currently available. I know it only takes Mini Displayport, but is this a type of signal or a type of connector, or both? Are there Mini Displayport video cards, or can I just get an adapter? Or do I need a converter?

Since the PC in question only has onboard video, I am willing to buy a descrete video card, but only if it's the simplest solution. Or would I still need special adapters? I'd rather avoid buying the Altona converter if just installing an appropriate video card would work.

Thanks.
