I bought 2 docks yesterday on apple.com and paid for overnight shipping. At the time of purchase, it said estimated to ship in 24 hours and that it would be delivered between June 25 to 28. Received shipping notification this morning that it won't be delivered until the 30!!! Bad CRAPPLE!!! FYI

2. To form an opinion about; evaluate: "While an author is yet living we estimate his powers by his worst performance" (Samuel Johnson).

I think apple is applying definition #1 here.

he paid overnight. do you think 3 days are not enough to cover the difference between estimation and real time? (25-28) I would think he should receive his package before 28. (this is the whole purpose of paying overnight.)

Copy and pasted my receipt apple emailed me.

I'm more outraged at them charging $29 for a dock. That's highway robbery.

"Here, we're going to take the same connector that already comes with your USB cable, prop it up in cheap plastic housing, and charge the people $30 for it."

Not quite sure why they would delay it until the 30th, but I'd call and get a refund on your overnight shipping. The Apple Store support people are usually pretty good about doing this. I would understand the 28th, since its the first normal delivery date after the weekend.

Apple isn't holding a gun to your head; you can buy a cheaper dock if you want.

Seriously? I ordered mine on the 15th and am receiving it on the 30th as well. It's less than a week away, you can wait a little

Overnight = next day delivery AFTER SHIPPING not after order.

I'm not upset about having to wait, I'm pissed I paid for overnight shipping when I could have chosen free ground shipping and presumably received it around the same time. I paid the extra shipping because I didn't want to have to battle the crowds at the stores.

Call Apple... they'll likely refund your shipping charges if you are polite and explain your issue.

Thanks for the suggestions Nightstorm! Apple customer service is the best, and in my opinion even better than American Express or USAA, both of which I bank with.
