They are referring to the iTunes music store, the iTunes movie store, and the App store respectively.

Thats misleading. I might buy a iPod Touch thinking it can hold a million songs and sue Apple.

Lol, everyone is so quick to go sue. You would get no where. and the day that you actually get one million songs... honestly.

No where does it state that it can actually HOLD one million songs or thousands of videos, or hundreds of games.

Nice try. No where does it say this. Your suit would get thrown out in a heartbeat.

BTW, if you have a million legal songs, you must be rich! :)

well, it is possible for a cheaper price. there are some bands that wil allow you to download their demos free and whatnot. If you did the work, you could get that much for free and legal.

when i first looked at the store before reading up on the updates, i initially thought

1) the increased the ipod touch capacity to at least 64gigs

2) they had an app like simplify media that enabled sharing of ALL media on your computer that could stream to the ipod touch/iphone

i thought it was a tad misleading

If you had a million songs, and they were each only one second long, it would take you 11.6 days to listen to them all.

If you actually had songs (average of 3min), it would take you almost six years to listen to them all.

You still want 1 million songs?

I doubt you could get that many songs legally for free.

BTW, a million songs would be 100,000 albums at 10 songs per album average.

I think you need help dude.
A nice way of putting it. :)

God I opened this thread thinking this might be something worthwhile another minute wasted.

The real question is how long it would take to sync over usb 2.0?

OP is correct, I went to the store and it says the following

8GB: 1,750 songs
16GB: 3,500 songs
32GB: 7,000 songs

maybe they say millions of songs to sell it? lol
