Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter

Guys - there are some reports onine that Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter isn't compatible with the iphone 14 but the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter is. Can somebody who's used either of the cables help out? I just need both video & audio from my phone to work on my 10 year old Sony TV

I’m not sure why the USB-C multiport adapter would be compatible with the 14?

With that said, I use the Lightning to digital AV adapter with my 14 Pro, it works fine.
