I have an idea to make the apple logo on the MacBooks blink of light up when a notification is received. i got this idea because I want to know if I have notifications without opening the computer and login in. Is this concept possible?

The current MacBook has a metal logo, so it will never blink.

The Pro and Air models borrow the screen backlight to make the logo light up. So you would have to turn on the screen for every notification and stop it from sleeping to pay attention to incoming notifications (or have it wake up every 15 minutes). So possible, but it kills the battery.
