Apple logo followed by spinning, again and again and again...

Hi all

Been trying to update to iOS 5. Having major issues.

Now my iPad isn't showing in iTunes and all that's happening on my iPad 2 is that I'm getting the Apple logo followed by the spinning wheel. Then back to the logo and then spinning wheel. This has been happening for the last hour.

Anyone got an idea of what I can do to get this sorted?

Problem solved.

In case anyone else has this problem I'll post my solution.

I was finally able to turn my device off. I then held the home button as I connected it to my computer which put it straight into Recovery Mode. Problem solved.

A lot of you will know that, but for those who never, it sorted my problem.
