Any idea why when I turn on my mac it takes 25+ Seconds for the apple logo to show up when it used to come up right away?

Do I need to do a reinstall?

Also it recently started like a pause in my music, it pauses for a seconds and then continues. Its like its running out of memory but I know its not.
Also getting the beachball a lot more frequently.

I am almost positive the fix is to go your settings and select "Startup Disk"

Click the one you want to boot and restart.

Usually if it takes a long time but works it's because it's searching at the beginning.

Sounds like a hard drive on its way out.
