Nothing seem to work. I tried holding down the top button and home key for more than 10 seconds and i get a blank screen then the apple logo appears again. I also tried getting a blank screen annd connecting to my laptop and mac-book and it is not being recognize at all when conected to the laptop with itune. Please HELP...DOes anyone have any idea on what to do...Have i screwed my ipad for good.

OK, can't really understand you
Have you got an iPod or iPad? you say both

What you can do it try and put your device into DFU mode (google it)
then press restore on iTunes.

If this doesn't work, download the ipsw file for your iPod or iPad. (again google it) find out what firmware you have on them and download the correct version

Then to restore, shift click restore on iTunes or command click restore on iTunes on a mac.

I've only given brief instructions, but if you need more help just ask.
