Dear all,

I have an iPhone 5, it's never been jail broken but for some reason it's stuck. It doesn't turn on it just shows the apple logo and then turns off and repeats this over and over.

I put the phone in recovery mode and tried to restore the phone but get an error 4013 which I believe is unknown.

I wanted to try again in DFU mode but my power button isn't working. So I tried to create an ISPW with RedSn0w to put it into DFU mode but this still doesn't work. I get the same error message through itunes l. I think I can only do this if the phone is on and recognised by itunes, and at the moment my phone is off and only gets recognised when it's in recovery mode. I don't think you can go from recovery to DFU - correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm using a USB cable designed for iPhone 4s with an adapter for iphone5 could this cause the problem? I've ordered an iphone 5 USB cable just in case.

I also had battery problems prior to this, the phone would not stay on for long - unless plugged into the charger, so I've ordered a replacement battery.

What else can I try? Any suggestions? PLEASE HELP.
