Of course apple lossless is the best quality to listen music that is iTune managed with the protection of the CD
I found that rather annoying to buy my CD in order to get better quality that what is offer currently on the store and the protection add artifacts making the sound much more terrible than the pirated version my friends enjoy teasing me with.
I did scan my whole collection of cds and didn't have the problem on many protected cd that i did long time ago but the newly scanned (not newly released) do have those artifact so i guess this has more to do with the version of itune than the version of the protection.
funny detail, i managed to get rahter better quality by scanning my cd from itune installed at work on a pc... not fair
Anyone has a solution to get lossless files from cds that are are artifact free? (from my mac)
