Hi! New member here, although I've been checking this forum for quite some time.

I've been looking at buying a mbp for a couple of weeks and yesterday I went to the apple website a few times to check different models, configurations, etc. After deciding to go for the $1499 model, I went to the apple website at around 9:30ish est and to my surprise the $1499 model was now $1399. All other models were lower too. Even the add ons (processor, ram, etc) were cheaper. I thought that might mean that new models are coming up soon, so I decided to wait and check macrumors today to see what's going on. However, maybe an hour later, I checked the apple website and the $1499 model was back at $1499, along with all other models.

Was I the only one to see this? Just checking!

That's very interesting, i hope they lower their prices again!!

Looks like we get a better discount in the UK (£175 or $285) on the Mid model (£1249), although you get it cheaper £1249=$2038 :O
