Apple M1 Silicon and Steve Jobs

The new M1 chip and more importantly the future generations of M chips for higher end machines like the 16” MacBook Pro, is likely the first head turning innovative development out of Apple in the post Steve Jobs era.

Apple Watches are great as is the iPhone (which arguably is mediocre in its iterations), however the general feeling is that under Tim Cook the innovation at Apple has been lacking since Steve died (and since Johnny Ive left).

The M1 may be the first real innovation that would have made Steve proud.
 
A lot of people think under Tim Cook apple made a lot of "Fortune 500" businesses
Airpods and after that the world was invaded by these concept after Apple introduce the airpods on iphone 7 event
Apple watch is another segment that is called an "Fortune 500" business
And yes, this transition already made a huge jump in performance/w in PC segment
 
Me too, I think Steve would be very proud for these apple silicons.
But after all, he took so much care, to leave behind him, a whole valuable and unique corporate tradition, that makes Apple to be what it is today.
It is like Steve's dna is embedded in Apple, and of course this is wonderful.
I always view videos from Steve, quotes, his handling in several situations,
and his was a true visionary. A genius.

When I first saw all this presentation of apple silicons,
I told to myself,
'only Apple was truly capable of doing this, and it did it'!

Fingers crossed for Apple to continue be a true innovative company as Steve always wanted,
and for making better computers for all of us!
