Apple MAC M2 Chip : Rosetta 2 update is not available

Hello,
I am trying to install Roesetta-2 on a brand new Apple MAC device with its macOS 13.4.1 by keying in the command:
sudo /usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license

However, rosetta does not get installed and errors out as:
Rosetta 2 update is not available

How to resolve this?
 
There is no need to use Terminal. Just launch an Intel app or Get Info on a universal app and tell it to open using Rosetta. You’ll be promted to install it.

Well I am trying to install OneLogin Desktop Pro on our MAC, but it is not working either thru GUI or through command line.

When I try to install through GUI, it errors out as
Not eligible for installation:
Installing “OneLoginDesktop” requires Rosetta.
Please check your internet connection and try again
- However we do have a working internet connection and I am able to browse Google sites, etc.
 
OK. That's weird. If it requires Rosetta, you should be prompted to install Rosetta. I would try a small Intel only binary, or tell macOS to run one of your other Universal apps using Rosetta. What happens then?
 
Funny is that the vendor OneLogin says it is Apple's problem. This is the only app that is not getting installed due to lack of Rosetta-2.

Apple MAC M1 chipsets do not have such issues ... issue only with M2 chipset based MAC's.
 
Just ran the command on a Mac Studio M2 Max and it installed successfully.

Try is using the interactive method:
