Apple Mac Mini M4: 16 vs 24 GB for music production?

Hello there,

Should I go for 16 or 24 GB RAM when purchasing an Apple Mac Mini M4 for music production?

My concern is that I when going for the regular M4, I'd run out of processing power before I run out of RAM?

Anyone around here with mixing experience in stereo and Dolby Atmos on Mac?

I never use ram-cache for playing back audio files and always stream them from the SSD so it'd be all for the plugins mostly.

I'm working in Pro Tools mainly.

24gb.

32gb or 48gb would be better.

You could of course experiment during the return period with a lower config but I’d probably want as much ram as I can afford for music production.
