Apple Mac Pro Intel Xeon 2 x 2.66Ghz for OSX/iOS Development

My company is looking at getting a Mac Pro for OSX/iOS development. One of the system they are looking at is a Apple Mac Pro Intel Xeon 2 x 2.66Ghz that comes with 4GB of memory. Is this system good for OSX development? I know iOS is good enough.
 
Pretty average. For Mac development, the more cores you can get, the better, but that system is perfectly fine. Certainly better than the single core 400 mhz G3 I used to use. :D
