Apple MacBook Pro A1286 Memory (Ram) Upgrade

I just got a Apple MacBook Pro A1286 for 15.00 but missing the Ram and Hard Drive and Hard drive cable is damaged Mem I have the hard drive cable with brackets coming but need to get the memory form it what kind of memory does it take?
I tried PC6400 did run it but no video and 8500 did work but what is best for it and the max it will take

So I need PC3-8500 type and the PC3-128 will not work
