Apple made more black iPhone 5 than white?

I have a feeling Apple, looking at past customer demand of 4S, made more black iPhones than white iPhones.

It is almost impossible to get a white one because they are all sold out.
 
I believe traditionally they sell far more black models than they do of the white ones. Therefore they would produce more blacks ones. If its difficult to find a white one, perhaps they underestimated the potential demand for the white. Be patient and you'll find a white one soon enough.
 
They make more black because it is just more popular (It appeals to everyone, not just girls and guys that where skinny jeans) :D

I drive a big tractor, work with pigs (4 legged types) and wear dirty big overalls.....and i have white! But then its easier to see in pig s@?t ;)

As to finding them... have you noticed that their are millions trying to find back ones as well/
