What is better (in your opinion), the Apple Magic Mouse or TrackPad?

Based on comfort and ease of use for programs and productivity. List pro's and cons of both.

Most Important!
Will either of these products work my 2008 White Macbook if I upgrade to Snow Leopard or Lion?

If there are other Mouse accessories that you feel are better than the Apple Magic Mouse or Trackpad (non Apple-products), please let me know why and try to convince me. I'm open to opinions.

A simple search would go a long way, especially on this topic.

As for the second part of your question, so long as you upgrade you should be fine. I use a Magic Mouse with an early 2007 MBP with Lion (previously Snow Leopard when the MM was released) and it works flawlessly. A Magic Trackpad should be no different.

I have both and find myself using the Magic Mouse more and more these days. I like having the trackpad around for more precise zooming in. But overall the Magic Mouse has been getting more love these days.
