I am running Apple Mail app which I like and will continue to use it as it is not bloated like Outlook for iOS.

However, when I open the Mail app, it opens up in the Outbox instead of opening to the Inbox.
Reboot did not help at all.

Has anyone came across this bug in the Mail app?

It just does not want to open up directly to my Inbox for some reason which it did in the past.
But I don't know what caused this to happen.

I know that the Mail app is VERY buggy at times, but I like it because it is not as cluttered as using the Outlook app.

Silly question, did you change it back to your Inbox? Apple Mail will open on the last view it had open, even after closing and restarting the app.

Yes. Went to the inbox then closed the app and then reopened and still goes or lands to the Outbox.

I would have thought that Apple would of fixed all the bugs in the Mail app but apparently not.

No wonder Apple is losing its market share because there technology is lacking…

Should I just remove my mail account and re-add it? Should that do the trick?

Has anyone else had faced the same issue as where the Mail app doesn’t open up to the inbox which was my last view?

I don’t have the issue. Mail opens to the mailbox and email I last had open, even if I close the app from the app switcher. This is on both iPhone and iPad, both on 16.4.1(a).
