Apple Mail: Can't Save Drafts

Hi. I'm using Mac OS 10.4.11 with Mail 2.1.3 on a G4, and Apple Mail won't save. I can't save drafts in the IMAP accounts, only the pop accounts. Sent messages disappear from the computer. I have toggled on and off and saved the "keep on server" option, and verified and repaired permissions. It says "Error: The message could not be saved," giving me no information beyond that. I just recently switched to IMAP accounts, how to I get them to be able to save drafts? Thank you!
