problem: ANY changes (deleted, marked as unread, etc) made on the iphone do not show up anywhere except the iphone. BUT, if i make the same changes from Apple Mail client on my mac, the changes show up on the iphone. WHY?
details. i setup a NEW account on apple mail as an IMAP to my original gmail address (tobysbox), i then started a NEW acccount on iphone as "other" and set it up as an IMAP. IMAP prefix is blank. Both are receiving new mail properly. Under iphone mail settings>account name>advanced>mailbox behaviors -i suspect i may have a wrong setting here. it is left at the default settings since im having trouble understanding what my choices mean.
Does anyone have a step by step guide or know what i'm leaving out? google is my friend, but shes playing hard to get at this point.
