Apple Mail getting a little bloated after 1700 emails in inbox.

Apple Mail is getting a little sluggish (mostly in the scrolling and genie maximize/minimize animations) after I get more than 1700 emails in my inbox. I like to keep all emails for reference sometimes. Is there a way to archive them or something?

Nevermind, I quitted and restarted Mail and it's back to normal.. :rolleyes:
