Apple Mail + Gmail = deleted items no From or Subject

So I've setup Apple Mail and Gmail (IMAP) and got the behavior 99% like what I want. The only strange quirk is this When I delete an email it goes into the server Trash (as expected). However, when I view it in the Apple Mail Trash - it has no From or Subject when it's in the list. The Date and Time are there. If I open the email (or preview it), it is the email - the data is there. Just no From or Subject in the list. Any ideas?
