Hi, I've had my new Macbook Pro for two days now and I love it! I'm having a problem with Mail however. I'm using a yahoo.co.uk account but it won't sync new messages. I've got all of the settings filled out correctly, and I've done a lot of research on the net for help. It will download all of my messages (about 1000) up until 20th August this year, then it stops. When I tell it to get new mail it says there are 200 messages to download then it makes a sound, but not the received mail sound. I've tried deleting emails but this makes no difference. Any ideas?

I've got the exact same problem with my yahoo uk mail account. Only 2223 messages (up until Sept 17, 2008) have been downloaded. Other mail accounts are working properly, but they have fewer than 500 messages in them. I've heard that Mail cannot handle large accounts.

mail can handle as many emails as you have

i have 2 10k+ email accounts loaded into my mail.

Yeah it's a weird problem, I just hope someone's found a fix for it.
