I have IMAP email accounts hosted on my web hosting account and I've noticed that there seems to be far too many processes running for my IMAP account on one of my macs. Most of the devices including my iphone have 2 processes running (which still seems like too many... why not 1?) and my email accounts will actually max out the server processes so it kills the online store, and some other functions of the site until I kill processes and turn off mail on one of the computers to cut down.

Is there a way to figure this out? I feel like it could be some issue with the Mail program itself maybe not killing the process itself?
