Mail has been broken ever since I upgraded to Leopard. I still can't send out emails reliably. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the emails get "stuck" in the Outbox and will never get sent out even if I relaunch Mail or reboot. And the thing is, Thunderbird has no problems at all. I've made sure the SMTP settings are identical for Thunderbird and Mail.
