There are certain messages, e.g. from Linkedin groups, that are not that important, so I mark them as Junk.

But they always show up in the Inbox again. The "Junk" button has no effect on them. It's as if those emails had some code in them that disabled them to be classified as Junk.

Nofilmschool mail is another one of those unjunkable messages.

Is there a way around this? I don't want lesser messages fill up my Inbox.

There is a setting in preferences to move them to the junk folder as they come in. Do you have that set?

Yes, it works for 99% of emails.

Only a few seem to have a shield against landing in the junk folder.
