I am using a Mac mini M1 running Ventura. For a few weeks now I've had trouble trying to get my mail to appear in my Inbox with just one click of the mouse.

When I click on Get Mail I see the popup in the bottom left corner and it informs me that it is downloading mail but nothing appears in my inbox. However if I click on Sent Mail and then return to my inbox the mail will appear.

I've also noticed other incidents that require 2 clicks whereas before just one was required. For example if I open up YouTube and click on a video the window will open up but it's just a black window until I click somewhere on window and then the video will appear.

I hope someone has an answer for this is getting annoying.

Thanks

Ok Cabin I did as you suggested and I waited until this morning to check my mail. Here is where it gets a little more crazy. I clicked on my Get Mail tab and watched the little Popup below to see if it was downloading any mail. It said No New Messages. Just for the heck of it I clicked on my Sent Mail icon and then clicked on my Inbox icon and 6 emails appeared in my Inbox. I quickly looked down at the Popup window just in time to see the word Moved....., but that's all I had time to see. I checked out the 6 emails in my Inbox and noticed that 2 of them were Date Received Yesterday and the other 4 were Date Received starting at 2AM until 8.39AM. It's as if those 6 emails were stored somewhere and then were moved into my Inbox when I clicked on my Inbox Icon.
