Hi,

I have a problem with setting up my rules. I am part of a yahoogroups email list. I have set up a rule for all mail from that list to go into a specific folder. Only if I send a letter to the group it does not place it in the folder, it places it in another folder even though I have told that folder to not accept mail when the subject includes the group tag line.

I never used to have this problem in Leopard but after upgrading to Snow Leopard it doesn't register properly.

Thanks,
mary

My guess is that you have multiple rules; the last rule will often take priority over the previous one. Thus if it matches rule #1 and says put it in folder A; but then something else matches in Rule #4 that says put it in folder B, it will go into folder B.

To fix this, after a rule is successful, add the action "Stop evaluating rules."
