apple mail sidebar only shows inbox/sent?

i just reformatted my mac, and noticed my apple mail doesn't show the outbox, drafts, trash, or spam/junk folders, etc. only the inbox and sent box are shown

how do i get them on there?

make some content for them and they'll be there.

They should re-appear when there's need for them...

Edit: Wow, I've had this tab open for 13 minutes...?!?

try deleting an email...did the trash show up?
