Hello, I'm sure this is something really easy to do, but I can't figure out how to do this. I know how to create smart folders in Mail, but once the e-mail has been transferred into a folder, I don't want it in the inbox any more. Is there a way so that when I get an e-mail that will be automatically sent to a smart folder, it will be deleted from the inbox automatically? I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help.

I eagerly await the answer to this question as I, too, was hoping Smart Mailboxes would move the messages out of the Inbox, but they only *reference* messages.

Granted, the search function in Apple Mail is excellent (in my opinion), and I find most of the information I need via the search function, but I was hoping to clean up my Inbox by having messages automatically diverted to folders instead of manually moving them.
