I have been using the GMails webinterface for some years, but is currently trying to use the Apple Mail as my default mail client. Mail is setup for GMail IMAP.
1) I've disabled the "All mail" folder for IMAP in my GMail settings (a part of Google Labs). But if an email has more then one label it's included in all the respective folders. This means that if I search for a specific mail, I'll got duplicate messages in the search result. Is there a way to get out of this?
2) After I've setup up the IMAP connection in Apple Mail some new labels/folder appears. [Imap]/Drafts, Sent Messages, Deleted Messages. Is there a way to let Apple mail use the GMail system folders instead?
Generally I'm a bit disappointed in the way that Apple Mail handles my GMail. Hope some of you have some good tips and tricks for me.
BTW, my main reason for not using the GMail webmail from the browser: I've been using Google Chrome for some while. Sadly Google Gears are not available for Google Chrome, which means that I cannot activate GMail Offline which are important for me. Think the working with the GMail without offline is a bit slowly.
Thanks.
