Apple mail voice plug-in?

I've searched this, but found nothing.

Does anyone know if such a thing as this exists?

I'm thinking of an extension/plug-in for Apple's OS X Mail app that allows an iMac user to very simply record a voice message, send it as mail message content, and play one on receipt, all within the Apple Mail Gui.
