Apple Mail

I have two email accounts in Apple Mail and 1 is my cloud account. It's the cloud account I want to delete. I've taken it offline removing the checkmark and taken the check marks from the accounts and cloud. But its still showing as online. Any ideas?

1. Open Mail.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Go to Accounts tab.
4. Click on the account you want to delete.
5. Click minus (bottom of the window).
6. Click remove.

If it says The ... account “...” is shared by other applications on this Mac - click Internet Account, and delete it there.
