For World AIDS Day today, Apple highlighted its long-standing partnership with (RED), which has raised $270 million to combat AIDS since 2006, launched its annual Apple Pay donation program and informative in-app collections, and is offering six downloadable (RED) Apple Watch faces.

The six downloadable (RED) Apple Watch faces feature (RED)'s distinctive shade of crimson. Apple says that the faces allow users to show their support for (RED) and complement the PRODUCT(RED) Braided Solo Loop, Sport Band, and Sport Loop Apple Watch bands.

Since 2006, Apple's donations to the Global Fund to fight AIDS have helped to deliver prevention, testing, support, and access to healthcare for communities affected by AIDS. Apple-supported grants have provided care and support services for more than 11 million people, over 192 million HIV tests, and access to antiretroviral treatments for over 13.8 million people.

A portion of the proceeds from Apple's current range of (PRODUCT)RED devices and accessories goes directly to the Global Fund, and through December 6, Apple is donating $1 to the Global Fund for every purchase made with Apple Pay on apple.com, in the Apple Store app, or at an Apple Store.

To raise visibility for World AIDS Day and the ongoing effort to eradicate HIV and AIDS, hundreds of Apple Store retail locations are displaying red Apple logos and window displays. The company is also spotlighting ways for customers to learn about AIDS in the App Store, Apple Books, Apple Podcasts, Apple Music, and Apple TV app.

Well this is interesting, downloadable Watch face that does not require a watchOS update...

I really wish there was a Watch Face store...
They are not new watch faces, they are just existing watch faces with red as the selected color. Not sure why all tech media is hyping the watch faces up. It’s not even like it’s an new, exclusive color or something.

My thoughts exactly ! Wasn't these colours available in the face selection already as well?

Wondering the same thing ?

Maybe it’s a new shade of red. (Refer to 5 billion shades of blue available)

Adding a Watch face through the website is good....a new Watch strap should come with a new Watch face. For e.g. buying the Hermes strap should include the Hermes Watch face

I really hate the lack of a basic color picker. While I understand curating colors, the interface really suffers from scrolling through a bunch of options, especially with the digital crown.

Wondering why Apple only has Product Red for iPhone 13 and iPhone SE but NOT on the iPhone 13 Pro range, just cases? Is that too much to ask? I suppose they assume you'll wrap that Pro in some sort of case but I'd still like to have a 'natively' red Pro, dang.

They seemed to try and alleviate the long list of colors by making so you had to select the colors to have them show, breaking them down by release date (e.g. Summer 2018), but that is an annoying solution because now I have to go through a bunch of extra steps to find a specific color. >:/

A color picker would be nice!

A stainless steel red would be sick.

How do you download them? When I go to the page it says to open the page on your iPhone to download watch faces but there is no download tab just the faces

I think they just appear if you are online.

Maybe you need an AW Product RED specifically, I’m not sure.

These new ones appear to be a slight bit more saturated than the ones that were already there.

But it’s so little that you’d only notice if you look at them next to one another.

I don’t see how these Watch faces are distinctly different or how they’ll remind anyone of world aids day, at least not anymore than just picking the regular red Watch faces.

?‍♂️
