Sup guys I just downloaded iOS 6 and allegedly Apple Maps is 3D, however, when I goto 3D/Satellite view, the display tilts, but the buildings aren't 3D, it is still 2D.

Anyone else having this problem?

Cheers

Only certain city's do it. Look up Vegas or new york

oh ok thats a bummer. i'm in the UK and not even sheffield or liverpool support the 3D. hope apple roll out updates for it soon.

LMFAO. I've been saying for weeks. Apple should've said "3D maps in major cities, but not in the suburbs! Lol

I wouldn't call liverpool a suburb :p At least Satnav works well on it, i'm glad TomTom is supplying the data.

Things will improve with time. If you want to compare plain satellite imagery with the new 3D style, check out the map location for the Science Museum in London. The "join" is currently right next door.

Haha the loading the 3D is so slow and pixelated, it looks like WW2 London.

Nope, I jus checked now on my dads iPhone 4, 3D doesn't work, so it won't work on 3GS. Gutted.

Miami has 3D buildings, but only up to around Coral Gables, then it's flatsville all the way out to the everglades.

I guess they didn't want to pay to fly the mapping plane too far west...
