Apple Maps cannot display more than 100 pins in side bar

Whether on macOS Sequioa 15.7 or iOS 18.7, when I have more than 100 pins the pins from 101 on no longer display in the side bar under the Pinned header. Even if the Pinned counter reads 101, only the first 100 pins are displayed in the side bar when I click on Pinned. The pins past 100 do show up in Recently Added and show on the map itself. Is this a feature or a bug?
