Apple Maps can't find manhattan addresses

I live in Manhattan and given that it is one of the largest cities in the us, I expect things like apple maps to work at their best here. However, when I upgraded this morning and tried to search for my apartment by typing in my street address, it came back with no address found. I live on a number street in manhattan (say 10 E 85 Street- not my address but an example) and when you type that in no results are found. How can it not find that? Most of the addresses in manhattan aren't on named streets but numbered ones. It if can't find one of those it is really useless to me. Add to that the lack of mass transit directions and it really is a piece of junk! We don't drive in ny or walk- most of the time we take the subway or a bus and not having the ability to get those directions make Apple Maps a total fail in my book.@

edit: Ahh...if you leave out the "th" in "85th", then it just gets all messed up.
