Apple maps experience in India

Hey guys,

Indian iOS 6 users, Please share your maps experience. I was so dissatisfied that I reverted back to iOS 5.1.1 in like 15 minutes.

Please mention parts of the country in case u have good coverage.

I am in Mumbai and travel to Gujarat a lot. Mumbai roads are marked but that's it. Not able find anything. Gujarat is pathetic to say least.

Also for places like abs Bangkok Thailand all the roads are in Thai script. Google maps had both the Thai script as well as the English equivalent. Which makes it useless for me when I travel there next month. Before I would use my iPhones maps extensively to travel. I'm looking for a 3rd party app to fulfill my needs for now.

I don't know about Thailand but in other countries you can switch between the native language and English in Maps settings but you can't have both printed on the map at the same time.

I guess we will have to rely too much on 3rd party apps..
