I'm trying to use 'Look Around' in Apple Maps on my Mac running Monterey 12.5.1, Apple Maps version 3.0. Everywhere I go, the option is greyed out. Is there anything else I need to do? I checked all my preferences in the app. Thanks!

Most likely because it may not be available in your city. I tested using Atlanta GA and it works fine. Are you sure you're zooming into an area of a supported city and clicking on a road (like you would for Google Street View)?

Thanks for the reply. I've double-checked this on cities that are listed (see below - San Francisco). No matter how much I zoom in or out, I'm never given the option.

Your screenshot shows as still pretty zoomed out, so I think you need to zoom in further. I input San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and can get it there. How about if you choose a specific landmark?

Wow, this is tricky, isn't it? Is your view set to Explore? Does it work on your iPhone or iPad?

The preferences don't seem to relate to Look Around, but in case it's helpful, here's what mine look like, which are the defaults I believe:
