Hi all,

Recently purchased a Mac Studio M2 and with it, Ventura [13.5]. Restored from prior Mac via Migration Assistant. Everything went well, save for a few system prefs.

Something I am unsure I had before, but I am actually pretty certain I have had - Apple Maps on my Mac kept in sync with my iPhone. I am signed into the same Apple ID on both devices and in the Apple Maps app itself. But my Work/Home, favorites, Guides, etc, that are all setup nicely on the iPhone [running iOS 16.6] are missing on my Mac. I have turned on/off iCloud access on the phone, but in the iCloud prefs on my Mac, there is no sync/on/off switch for Maps.

Is there any way to get the 2 devices to talk to each other, regarding Maps. I've put a lot of time making the favorites, and guides, on my iPhone and would like to have access to them on my Mac.

Thanks!

I was able to confirm that this issue is - 1) still happening and 2) seems unique to my main AppleID. I created a new AppleID on another user account on my Mac, and together with my old iPhone [12 mini], those 2 devices/accounts stay in sync with Apple Maps.

Is there any way to force iCloud to sync Apple Maps on my Mac? I have tons of guides/bookmarks on my phone that I really would like to have on my Mac. Heck even my Work/Home addresses aren't set on my Mac, when they clearly are on my iPhone.

Thanks!
