Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver get flyover. dont know if its der in ios 6 or ios7 beta1..

moreover in ios7 beta 2, search Calgary and u land up in North Atlantic Ocean although pin is on calgary, u land way away from the searched place. tried with many different cities, places and everytime i landed way away from searched place.

does anyone else have this problem? tried on iphone 5

is anyone else having this issue. I am talking to apple with this. they have asked for more details. should get some result now.
 
I know for sure Toronto had flyover in iOS 6, although the coverage area seems much larger now in iOS 7.

And I have the same issue of being taken out to a body of water when I search for a location within the maps app.

so far it seems we have this problem in iphones only and not in iPad.. i would try on ipad but dont want to lose my jailbreak...

The Toronto coverage was expanded significantly a couple months ago. It's definitely present in iOS 6.
 
Apple Maps on iOS7 Beta 2

First of all, Maps on beta 1 seemed to work great..

Today I tested Maps on iOS7 beta 2.. Well, it didn't work well at all. Sometimes it would give voice prompts, other times it wouldn't. Sometimes it would give a voice prompt several (up to 5) minutes late.

Imagine, turning a corner, then being told 5 minutes down the road, to turn that corner.

Other annoying things was, I was listening to music at the time.. So basically, the iPhone generally lowers the volume of the music, says the voice instructions, then turns the volume back up. What was happening today was:

1) Lower the volume of the music
2) Wait up to 5 minutes
3) Say the voice instructions
4) THEN return the music back to normal volume.

Anyone else having strange Maps behaviour like this since iOS7 beta 2?

i didnt try apple maps while navigation...

google map seemed to work right. iphone was plugged in as ipod in car's music system.. it lowered music and said the directions and then music volume was back to normal... no delays with google maps.. will try apple map next time..
 
Shared maps no voice navigation

when I create map directions on my computer and share with my iPhone I do NOT get voice navigation. If I use Seri for directions I DO get voice navigation, but I cannot control the map directions...Seri choice.

Is there a way to get voice navigation when sharing a map to my iPhone?

I don't have a MAC to check...but I'm not sure how it DOESN'T have voice directions either way.

Interested to see if others are having the same issue as my new Mac purchase is right around the corner...
