Hi all,

I have an iPhone 4S, running iOS 8.3.

1) Does the Apple Maps have traffic rerouting?
2) Does the app need a constant strong internet connection?
3) Can the app alert me of local speed limits and cameras?

Thanks!

Hello there,

The 4S supports Turn by Turn navigation so I'd hazard a guess and say, yes, it supports traffic re-routing.

Whenever I've taken a different direction under a poor signal very often the phone seemingly updates very quickly. But I guess it varies depending on where you are in the World.

However the app won't alert you to local speed limits and cameras. You'd need Waze etc for that.

Great thanks for your reply!

I am in the UK and I have a very good 3G connection in most places in the country.

Ah that's a shame, but okay thanks!
