Apple May Replace 2014 iMac - Compare Spec

AppleCare usually goes by the cost of the machine when you purchased and replaces the old with the currently priced similar model. That is what they have done for me. If the model iMac you purchased was the top of the line then probably the replacement will be top of the line.
Quite frankly, if they're going to take your old one and GIVE you a new one, I wouldn't be askin' questions.
