Apple Memo to Stores Regarding iPhone 3G

Employees have been told to say that they have no information regarding upgrade eligibility

No rate plans announced yet

So it looks like the official word is that there is no official word

Maybe I missed it....but, was the actual internal document in that article somewhere or was it just an article about an internal document someone heard about?

Speculation....perhaps?

Thanks for posting this! It cinches it for me. I qualify for a FAN/IRU discount, so I'll be getting the phone at an ATT store. Either way, I figure for shorter lines at the store, so I can get it there, then walk in to the store and look at accessories while watching everyone waiting in line there!

I hope its easier to get it from the store, I dont like lines. But I will for sure have to go to the Apple store. I dont like the accessories at the ATT store. They always look cheap.
