Hi all

Im currently running the current build of Mavericks as a registered developer. Here's what recently occurred:-

I went into Finder and discovered for some odd reason that under All My Files, nothing was showing on the right hand side of finder - completely blank. I did a search on the web and the most common resolution was to remove the com.apple.finder.plist and com.apple.sidbarlists.plist file as well. Unfortunately, since then when the system boots, the background screen appears as normal, but the Apple Menu (grey menu across the top) takes a while to load.

In fact to make the loading of the Apple Menu (Grey menu bar) load quicker i have to click on Finder in the dock. On top of this When I go to Apple Menu, About this Mac, More Info and click on Storage, the bar is all yellow as if the system is not refreshing the contents correctly. Bare in mind I only have 50gb used out of my 256GB hard disk, no applications have been installed in the last 24 hours, checked Login items, removed caches, tried System Config, launch daemons etc, and still not improvement.

I even did Option Boot and ran Disk Utility, verify / repair disk permissions, still no fix, but everything else seems to go fine. Again this has all happened only in the last 24 hours, so Im baffled how to fix it.

I would welcome any resolutions to this. I have also logged these issues as bugs on the Apple Bug Reporter.
