Hi Guys,
I recently got myself a mighty mouse and I am experiencing a problem - whenever I click either the left click, right click, or middle click button, the mouse always functions as if I am click the scroll ball (aka middle click button). To clarify, I have my middle mouse button mapped to dashboard. Thus, if I click the right click or the left click buttons on my mouse, rather than serving the primary/secondary click buttons that these are mapped to, they instead all open up dashboard. I have tried remapping the mouse in system preferences to no avail. As a temproary fix, I mapped my middle mouse button as the primary click and I am still using my mighty mouse. It seems like this is a software issue, and since this problem was present since I got the mouse, I feel like it might be a firmware issue with the mouse.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I might eventually call up Apple, but since there is no Apple store around here, I don't really want to deal with Apple for a non-hardware issue (at this point this is what it seems to be), unless I really have to.
