I have a 30" Mac monitor that has worked perfectly for years. Today when I powered up, the aspect ratio had changed to 4:3, had a different background image and had horrible resolution. I've tried going into "displays" and changing the resolution, but to no avail. I also tried resetting my PRAM and that did nothing. Anyone?

Are you using a video adapter or does the 30" work natively with your computer? Either way, if you connect a different monitor, do you have the same problem with not being able to select a resolution with the desired aspect ratio? If so, testing with a different adapter or computer would be the next order of business.
