Well, at least the Sci/Tech headlines in google news today...

http://news.google.com/

The 3 headlines were all Apple related:
1. iBooks
2. iTunes
3. Low cost supercomputer from 1000 Apple PC's

Lots of people and organizations measure market share in the computer business. I wonder if anybody tries to measure mindshare? Apple must have more of the latter than they do of the former.

since google's news is selected by computers, it relies heavily on what it sees on the rest of the web, and what people are interested in reading. So this really means that Apple is currently the talk of the town :)

Seems like the only people who haven't heard of Apple are the hopelessly entailed people out here in Maryville, Missouri. I'm taking the AluBook everywhere I can to try and get the word out. Everyone who looks at it loves the way it looks and how thin it is! I can't count the compliments I've gotten on the machine. Apple has more cool factor in it left pinky finger than the whole Microsoft company has. I love my Mac, there are few Wintel users who LOVE their computer.

And many of those love it for Linux. I can't think of anyone I know who actually loves M$ or Windows...
