Is it not supposed to show song progress? I remember it doing it before when I tried Apple Music the first time. It shows a red circle in the Watch app when customizing Watch faces.

Does it work for you?

Yes it does. If you choose music app as part of your compilation, you will see a circle filling as Time goes on.

Hmm, mine just shows the note. Are you playing music from the watch or your phone? I’m playing from my phone. Can’t test the watch as I don’t have any bt headphones.

Oh, yes. I play from my watch and there is a circle. When I play from my phone, there is no circle. That circle is only for playing from the watch.

Ok. Thanks for testing. Not sure if it’s a bug or intended behavior.

I would imagine intended. If you are playing from your phone it would be nearby and you could see the progress on that I guess.

It’s just inconsistent. It might as well show them. The now playing app opens when playing music from the phone. And I believe it did show progress before on the complication. I can’t say when as I haven’t used Apple Music in a while.

AFAIK the red circle is the volume.
I believe the red circle he is referring to is this one.

See bottom left.
Not this one.
